What is a Casement Window?
It’s a window attached to the side of its frame with one or more hinges. Its design allows it to open outwards from the side, maximizing airflow. It can be offered as either a single window or as two windows that swing outward, called a double casement.
Casement windows offer these benefits over traditional sliding or hung windows.
- Maximum ventilation because its design allows complete opening
- Funnel in breezes that would otherwise bypass your home because outward swinging sash acts as a flap, redirecting airflow
- Increase efficiency and lower power bills due to tight seal when closed
Boost the ventilation and lighting in your home. You’ll immediately notice the flood of fresh air flowing through your home and wonder why you haven’t considered this change sooner.
